At Pest Orbit Pakistan, how we achieve our results is just as important as the results themselves. Our Ethical Policy serves as the cornerstone of our corporate governance, ensuring that every technician, manager, and director acts with uncompromising integrity.

We recognize our responsibility to our clients, our employees, and the broader communities in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and across Pakistan. This policy outlines the non-negotiable ethical standards required to maintain trust, foster a safe workplace, and protect the environment.

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

Professional ethics and corporate integrity

Pest Orbit Pakistan maintains a Zero-Tolerance policy toward bribery, extortion, and corruption. We compete fairly based on the quality of our service and the value of our expertise.

  • Bribes & Kickbacks: Employees must never offer, promise, give, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or any improper financial advantage to secure business, permits, or favorable treatment from government officials or private clients.
  • Gifts & Hospitality: The exchange of gifts must be modest, culturally appropriate, purely symbolic, and never intended to influence a business decision. Cash gifts are strictly prohibited.
  • Facilitation Payments: We do not make "facilitation payments" (unofficial payments made to secure or speed up routine government actions).
05

Fair Business Practices

We are committed to truthfulness in all our marketing, sales, and operational communications.

  • Honest Marketing: We do not make false claims about the efficacy of our treatments, the chemicals we use, or the severity of a client's pest problem. We sell solutions based on factual assessments, not fear.
  • Fair Competition: We respect our competitors and strictly prohibit anti-competitive behavior, such as price-fixing, market division, or spreading malicious misinformation about other pest control providers.
  • Data Integrity: All service reports, billing, and inspection documents must be 100% accurate. Falsifying records is grounds for immediate dismissal.
06

Labor & Human Rights

Our technicians and office staff are our most valuable assets. Pest Orbit is committed to providing a safe, dignified, and fair working environment.

  • Zero Child & Forced Labor: We strictly prohibit the employment of individuals under the age of 18. We do not engage in or support any form of forced, bonded, or indentured labor.
  • Fair Compensation: We guarantee that all employees receive wages that meet or exceed the legal minimum wage for their respective province, paid on time, every month.
  • Health & Safety (OHS): Aligned with our ISO 45001:2018 certification, we provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) β€” including respirators, gloves, and hazard suits β€” at no cost to the employee. No employee will ever be forced to perform a task they believe is unsafe.
Mandatory PPE Compliance: For the safety of our team, the use of issued PPE is strictly enforced. Failure to wear PPE on a job site is treated as a severe breach of this Ethical Policy.
07

Environmental Stewardship

Environmental stewardship and green initiatives

Pest management inherently involves chemical interventions. Therefore, our ethical duty to protect Pakistan's ecosystems, water supplies, and non-target wildlife is paramount, guided by our ISO 14001:2015 certification.

  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM): We prioritize IPM methodologies. This means using non-chemical solutions, structural proofing, and hygiene recommendations first, relying on pesticides only when strictly necessary.
  • Chemical Responsibility: We never use banned, highly toxic, or unapproved agricultural chemicals in urban environments. We adhere strictly to dilution ratios to prevent toxic runoff.
  • Safe Disposal: Empty pesticide containers and hazardous materials are never disposed of in standard municipal waste. They are neutralized, punctured (to prevent reuse), and disposed of via certified waste management protocols.
08

Diversity, Inclusion & Cultural Respect

Pest Orbit Pakistan operates in a diverse society. We treat all employees, clients, and community members with absolute respect.

  • Non-Discrimination: We hire, promote, and reward based purely on merit. We do not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, language, sect, religion, gender, or physical ability.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: We respect the cultural and religious norms of our team and our clients. This includes accommodating prayer times and ensuring respectful conduct when our technicians enter private residences.
  • Zero Harassment: We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of verbal, physical, or sexual harassment in the workplace or on client premises.
09

Conflicts of Interest

Employees must act in the best interests of Pest Orbit Pakistan and our clients at all times.

  • Employees must declare any personal, financial, or family relationships that could influence their business decisions or judgments.
  • Technicians and supervisors may not run competing "side businesses" or independently service Pest Orbit clients outside of official company channels.
10

Whistleblowing & Reporting

We actively encourage employees, suppliers, and clients to speak up if they witness any violation of this Ethical Policy.

  • Confidentiality: Reports can be made confidentially to the management team.
  • No Retaliation: Pest Orbit guarantees that no individual will face demotion, harassment, or retaliation for raising a genuine ethical concern or reporting a suspected violation in good faith.
If you witness unsafe chemical practices, bribery, or harassment, you are ethically obligated to report it directly to management via our dedicated channels.
11

Policy Breaches

Adherence to this Ethical Policy is a condition of employment and partnership with Pest Orbit Pakistan.

Violations of these guidelines will result in prompt disciplinary action, which may include formal warnings, suspension, immediate termination of employment, or the severing of vendor contracts. In cases involving illegal activities (such as bribery, severe environmental dumping, or theft), Pest Orbit will refer the matter to the appropriate Pakistani legal authorities.
